I started teaching in 1982 and have enjoyed working with students from the elementary to college level where I have taught and worked in various media. I believe my role as an educator is to inspire, encourage, and celebrate my students self development and creativity.

Presently teaching photography, I have grown to appreciate how photography combines science  and optics with the craftsmanship of printmaking and the aesthetic values of drawing and painting.  Photography combines the physical and the technical with the aesthetic and the beautiful.
